Ebute Meta is divided into Ebute Meta East and Ebute Meta West, although the Adekunle end of the locality is sometimes considered part of the area. Now that the old buildings around Abeokuta; Odunfa, Ibadan, Kano, Glover and Lagos streets are giving way to new buildings housing modern apartments, rent in this neighbourhood is gradually shooting up. 1-room self-contained apartment with its private facilities such as kitchen, toilet, and sometimes parking space goes between N150k to N200k. Mini-flats/studio apartment can be secured between N250k to N300k, and with some bit of luck and careful search, 2-bedroom flat can be rented between N300K and N350k.
